COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Translated by Rastacouere: "Bottle-conditioned craft brewed wheat based beer. Unfiltered, therefore naturally cloudy. Unpasteurized to keep its lively character, giving it, when kept from heat and light, a rich nose of aromatic alcohols."

Thanks to Martinus! 500 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG17. Ingredients list coriander curacao, serious what the hell! This just has to be a botched witbier. If it isn’t no sure which is worse these guys disturbing health violations or the idea to add coriander to a geuze. Hazy citrus golden, little white head. Nose is old plaster, dull spoiled plaster, rotting yeat & dough. Watery rotting dough, yeast, hay, sugar, far weaker in taste than expected, rotting grains. Poor but not as awful as hoped, zero funk, this is a spoiled witbier that they labelled as a geuze in order to get rid of this crap. Is “rich nose of aromatic alcohols” their actual product description, wth?

Pours clear blonde . Small white head . Smell is funky , slightly lemon sour . Taste is dry , sour grainyness , not much funk though . Lemon aspects . Malty sweetness still there . How is this a geuze ? Tastes nothing like any geuze ... Much carbonation , rather thin mouthfeel .

Pours a clear golden with a medium white head that leaves some lacing. Nose is of pils and lightly skunky. Taste is pretty light, lightly tart and metallic. Like skunked water for the most part. Body is weak and mouthfeel watery, carbonation level is medium. Blah....

Bottle shared at a tasting. Clear gold pour, no head. Pils-y aroma, metal, spice, something funky, smells more like an infected pils than a gueuze. Taste is pretty horrible, old flat rotten beer, crappy infected pils flavor, wheaty lemon taste. Bleh.

Bottle. Clear golden with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is of pils, light skunk, sugar, light fruitiness and hints of paint thinner. Taste is also of pils, light fruitiness, very light acidic notes and hints of pain thinner again. Light body. Weak. Soft/moderate carbonation. Pretty bad, but not as offensive as expected... espcially after the two Schoune "lambics" we had just before. A gueuze, really?
