COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Malzsorten: Wiener Malz, Pilsener Malz, Karamellmalz

jonas (8571) - Garching close to the monks, GERMANY - FEB 23, 2018
Bottle, well past mhd. Pretty amber, eggshell head. Light oxidized caramel malt aroma, grassy hops, some minerals. Medium light body, sparkly yet chewy. Lightfooted blend of hayish, caramel, fruity and rural malt notes, no old notes on the palate. Grassy hops to balance, a hint lime retronasal. A good broad malt base really helps when you age beers I found.

herrklemann (578) - Graz, AUSTRIA - FEB 12, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 12, 2018 Tap. Medium white head on a cloudy. Tropical fruits, hay, grains. Soft sweetness, round, almost no bitterness. Medium body with soft carbonation. Uneventful but nice.

Bottle at Mel's in Vienna. Orangey with too much sediment floatin about. Soggy bran bread aroma. Taste is grassy, liquid bread, all malts, only malts. A bit boring or at least lopsided. Not so nice, skip this one.

Marstonlad (1013) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 26, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 4, 2017 On tap at Craft Beer Coeln. Pours fairly clear bronze with a little white head. The aroma features pale maltiness - grain and hay - with a very subtle hoppy touch. Taste is light to medium sweet, not very hoppy, low on bitterness. Flavours of grain, hay and a touch of honey. The palate is light to medium bodied and very smooth, low to average in carbonation. Decent but lacking in the hops department.
