The Citra Saison is BBNo.’s modern interpretation of a Belgian farmhouse-style classic. A light, crisp body, fresh fruit/spice flavour and a mild bitterness make this a very refreshing, drinkable beer.

From 33cl bottle at La Cantinetta, Rimini, Italy. Pours rather pale yellow with medium-high white foam, evanescent and fine. Aroma is lemon peel, spiced. Body is average with good carbonation. Taste is very moderate sweet, nice bitterness, some tanginess. Finish is short enough.

Can, 33cL (from tap, special system). 5.4%. Purchase ("Maloan", @Rennes, FR). Home. A pale golden clear beer with an average white head ; ok retention. Fruits++ (citrus such as lemon, orange, tropical fruity notes), light herb and resin. Light sweet, light to medium dry fresh acid, bitter note. Light body, thin texture, average good carbonation, dry fruity acid lasting finish. Overall, great ! I won't call this one a "saison" but I really enjoyed it !!

0,33l bottle at home. Bottled 03/10/2016. BB 03/04/2018. light yellow lightly hazy color, medium big white head. smells spices, peppery, flowery, bit citric, lightly grassy. nice smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes grassy, citric, bit breadish, lightly earthy, flowery, herbal, thyme, hints of sweetness. finishes with a light bitterness and notes of earth, flower and some herbal notes. rather nice one, quite good to drink, a bit too much on the grassy / herbal bitter side, but overall still very enjoyable.

Cask at the brewery. Pours pale golden with a medium white foam. Scent is medium notes of saison but sadly some properties of soap. Taste is fucking gorgeous flavors of saison with notes of herbs, wheat, weizen. Mild. Mature. Great.

On tap @ Uiltje Craft Beer Bar, Haarlem Hazy light golden with a white head. Citrus aroma, not a lot of funky barnyard flavours but a light floral touch is noticable. Medium bitterness. Very light fresh saison.
