Bottle from abm
hazy pale blonde with fluffy offwhite head. Dusty hessian and cucumber peel. Even without the name the aroma gives the game away. Dry spicey fruit notes. Slushy cucumber, medium body, fairly astringent finish. Pretty decent but needs more juniper. Adding gin and tonic makes it decent.

Keg at Pelt Trader, Cannon Street, London. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Yeasty, cucumber aroma. Tastes similar, yeasty, cucumber, spice. Quite interesting, almost like drinking some kind of vegetable juice.

harrisoni (19558) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUN 8, 2014
Bottle from The Bottle Shop Canterbury and drunk at home. Hazy pale gold colour with lasting white head. Saison yeast aroma with some spice from the juniper. Some lemon. Some soap and lemon in the mouth. The aroma is good. With some of that aroma coming through in the flavour and then some white pepper spicy hops on the finish. Certainly refreshing and tasty. Cucumber comes through. A good flavoured saison.

On tap at Brew by Numbers, pours a cloudy pale golden yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out loads of cucumber, light juniper and yeast. Flavour brings out lots of cucumber and twiggy, earthy notes. Highly dry and drinkable, with an earthy finish. Decent stuff.

mR_fr0g (14028) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 7, 2014
Keg at the brewery. Translucent bright yellow coloured pour with. A pure white frothy white head. Aroma is saison yeast, cucumber and lightly spiced pepper. Flavoyr is fresh pepper, cucumber frssh , doughy wheat malts. Don’t get a lot of juniper, maybe a little spicy note. Cucumber comes through pretty well . palate is light and crisp and nice drying finish. Very nice spiced herb veg beer.

Niall73 (2459) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 31, 2014
Tap at the brewery. Pours a dark yellow straw colour. Light spice yeasty aroma. Light body, medium carbonation. Candy cucumber, light pepper, herby... A little odd, but tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Juniper aroma is significant. As for the taste, the juniper is loaded up front but quickly dissipates. The cucumber adds a refreshing blast. This beer could use a bit more carbonation (note - I just found this rating on my phone from earlier in the year, so maybe new bottles are fine). The unique flavors work really well together. This is a great experiment by the Brew By Numbers crew.
