Another pairing of hops and citrus. The juicy fruit punch of Motueka hops is offset by the zing of fresh lime zest; all backed up by a classic Saison yeast character.

Tinaccio (500) - Milano, ITALY - JUL 9, 2017
330 ml bottle from London Brewers Market, Old Spitalfields Market, London, UK. It pours pale yellow, with a small white head. Aroma is strong citrus. Lemon, lime, grapefruit, wheat, grass. Taste is lemon and lime at most, light bitter. Body is light, carbonation is average. Watery mouthfeel but long citrus taste in the finish. Nothing to special for me.

Citrus predominates, but wouldn’t necessarily suggest lime. Refreshing yet bitter. First saison so difficult to compare, but feels like a refined summer drink, that goes well before a meal or something light.
