Purchased as part of an Introductory Pack from the great International Beer Collector. Chose a Leffe glass for this one. Maybe good, maybe bad. Poured well. Paler then I thought but only my 3rd Saison, still not sure what they are. Smelt real fruity, which was a good thing. At this stage I was excited. The fruitiness didn’t come through as well as hoped, only for a smidgen then bitterness. Felt as though there were taste buds on the roof of me mouth. Not a bad thing but must say not a great fan of the bitter ones. First 2 seconds of the sip awesome. Overall Ok. Davros IX (611) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 2, 2018
Bottle at home. A rough looking pour and a harsh sourness to the taste. It was drinkable, but in no way smooth or particularly enjoyable. Pretty bad. CraftyHare (140) - Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - NOV 22, 2017

330mL bottle from International Beer Collector
Hazy straw body, decent sized white foam.
Not a great deal on the nose - bread white & dough, earthy, dried herbal spice.
Medium-lightish body, dry, minerally, relatively lively carbonation.
Bit more interest on the body - get some marmalade-y hop character, slight earthy, woody character in there, spicy phenolic character develops with warmth, peppery finish, dry, slight bitterness.
Not a bad Saison.
