Brewed with wheat and Munich malts, this golden-coloured beer has malt character to back up the great hop aroma. Notes of tropical fruit, oranges and tangerines and a clean bitterness.

Taster from BBN tom at launch, CBC although I must confess I’ve had the prototype for this. Colour is toasty golden amber, white head. Nose surprisingly is citrous sweet, tangerine, lemon, orange. Taste is also citrous sweet, tangerine and sherberty, with a bit of malty graininess. This is my kind of blonde beer, although half way to an APA.

McNeillR (2335) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 6, 2015
Hazy golden, I mean a full steady bright murk with soft icing of a head and slim ring. Nose is gritty hay, gamey pineapple and gluey papery floral. Solidly robust flurry of tangerine, bit pithy but very straightforward. Soft bitterness but a firm, creamy malt sheen with an equally soft mouthfeel. Finishes a sweaty lemon and a growing cheer of clipped citrus and creamy stone fruit linger. Bottle, Beerhive.

Keg, BrewDog Leicester. Murky orange skimmed with white. Peachy orange and biscuit base nose with a squirt of rose water. Soapy floral husky flavour with an almost smokey balance and washy peach and cedar. Decent fruity beast struggling to contend with the other monsters on the table.

Keg, Brewdog Leicester. Hazy orange gold with an off white head. Aromas are oranges with white grape and light spices. Hints of grapefruit and pineapple with bready yeast. Toasted malts base with floral notes. Flavours are mellow tropical fruit with spritzy yeast and orange. Lightly bitter lemon with a bready palate. Good.

Bottle 330ml (AbM)
Hazy brownish-amber color, small steady white head. Grassy, piney aroma. Medium-bodied. Bready maltyness, grass, citrus and pine. Suprisingly not really tropical fruity. A bit heavy.

33 cl bottle. Bottled on 03.03.2015. BBE 03.07.2015.
Pours hazy orange-brown color with a small head. Hops on the nose, orange, some malts too. Fruity flavor, bitter resinous hops, some caramel malts and hay. Decent but a bit stuffy.

zacgillbanks (5661) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - APR 18, 2015
Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Cloudy dark amber coloured with a sweet tropical fruit flavour, a rich malty, toffee and creamy mouthfeel followed by warming tangerine and pine on the finish.

Draft @ Brew By Numbers in London

Appearance: Pale golden colour, soft white head
Aroma: Tropical fruit, bread, light spice
Taste: Lime, lemon, grapefruit, pepper, bready malt. Interesting combo with tropical fruits from Motueka coupled with pepper and citrus from Jade.
Palate: Light to medium body, very sessionable

jzi (314) - POLAND - APR 11, 2015
Piana: słaba i szybko opada do zera. Barwa: Pomarańczowa. Piwo mocno zmętnione. Aromat: żywica, cytrusy a przede wszystkim grapefruit. Smak: Lekko ściągająca goryczka, Wyraźnie wyczuwalne cytrusy. Piwo dość nisko wysycone, niczym się nie wyróżnia, nie zachwyca. Jest cytrus, jest goryczka i koniec emocji.
