Beese (2938) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2014
Draught at The White Horse, Parsons Green on 23 March 2013. Poured a hazy golden, with a dense white head. Aroma of candied peal, caramel and tropical fruit. Tinned fruit in the initial flavours, with some biscuit and grain. Finish was straw, satsuma and brown sugar.

bottle from the brewery. Golden with a slight white head. Plenty of apricots, tangerines and grapefruits, with some crisp malts and a dryish finish. Very good.

33cl bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a big white head. Long lasting foam and lot of carbonation streming off the bottom of the glass. Aroma is hop forward on the fruity side, with pineapple and citrus. Taste is similarly fruity but not overly bitter. Grapefruit and peaches with a touch of acidic note in the finish. Medium mouthfeel and well carbonated. Nice and refreshing. More an APA to me.

33cl Bottle from Utobeer, thanks Manon! Hazy orange colour, dense off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, stone fruits, light soapy, nice sweet fruity and floral hops, light citrus, sugar. Flavour is medium-sweet, stone fruits, mango, tea leaves, smooth bitter fruity hoppy finish. Light-bodied, smoft mouthfeel. I could drink loads of this stuff. Tasted more like an APA or IPA than a golden ale imo.

Leighton (21513) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 10, 2013
Bottle at home in London, picked up at Utobeer. Pours mostly clear gold with a large, frothy white head. Some dry orangey citrus in the nose, pale malts. Light sweet flavor with bright stone fruits, crispy hay and dry, pale malts, juicy orange. Light bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Clean finish with very faint resinous cling, some stoney orange and peach, low bitterness, bits of hay. Very nice, highly drinkable beer.
