Bottle. Whole Foods Market, Piccadilly. Label states 5.0%. Thick as a bag, dark gold. Big, rocky, off white head. Fusty grapefruit. Damp grain. Fruity toffee. Some flora. Taste has a bit of everything. Feels a bit all over. Soft fizz. Some oiliness. Finishes tangy bitter. Smells good, but apart from that I didn’t care much for this one.

Pours hazy pale amber with thin white head that quickly vanishes. Nose is tropical fruits, citrus and sweet malts. Aromas are citrus (grapefruit), fruits, a hint of pine resin. Average carbonation, medium body. Medium bitter finish. Nothing exceptionnal, but good ale.
