4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at the launch party. Pours opaque black, with a tan brown head. Nose is rich and malty. Chocolate, caramel, dark fruits, prune, roasted malt. Taste is delicious and reminds me a bit of Carnegie Porter but even richer and better. Nice balance between chocolately, roasted malt and dark fruit, prune, raisins and a bit of vanilla. Very good porter.
Bottled (backlog). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, some liquorice with mild floral and earthy notes. Flavour is chocolate, coffee, some roasted malts and mild liquorice. Nice balance between the sweetness and the roasted tones. Scotty001 (563) - Portlethen, SCOTLAND - MAY 17, 2015
Deep dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate and malt. Light to medium body, flavour as the aroma. RexTalionis (3763) - FINLAND - APR 2, 2015
Bottle. Pours very dark, almost black in color with a tan head. Chocolate covered dark fruits with some licorice on the side in aroma. Nice roasted notes here with some malts as well. Quite the chocolatey one in taste here. There’s also some sweeter elements present, feels almost like some fudge is present. Dry and quite bitter aftertaste though. Good one. Bottle, bought @Alesbymail. Pours opaque black with a small, creamy, beige head. Aroma has lots of luscious chocolate, mild roasted, hazelnuts, light coffee. Medium to low carbonation, fine dry and quite full mouthfeel. Flavour has good roasted malts, soft salty, licorice, dense chocolate. Lovely malty bitterness to the finish.

Pours very dark with brown head, and smells exactly as a porter should: toasted, malt, roast and sweet as well. Taste follows similar lines, very roasted and leaves the same as an aftertaste, very easy to drink and not very strong, shame the bottle was only 330ml. thomat (3868) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 28, 2014
