Bottle, January 2017. Dark chocolate, wafers, lots of pine needles and a very pleasant earthiness. Velvety smooth, fluffy mouthfeel. Coffee and an underlined bitterness in the finish. Superb stuff!

33 cl bottle. Bottled on 13.06.2016. BBE 13.06.2017.
Pours dark opaque red color with a small off-white head. Very hoppy aroma with syrupy sweet notes, caramel and toasted malts, faint fruits, lots of licorice which fits very well with the hop profile, awesome aroma. Flavor is chocolaty with mild hoppy bitterness, slightly oaty, some syrupy sweetness on the background, orange on the finish. Shorty dry, almost ashy roast malt aftertaste. Wasn’t expecting this to be quite this good, feels way fresher hop-wise than it is based on the bbe. Very nice.

Idiosynkrasie (8518) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAY 29, 2017
330ml bottle. Darkest brwon colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Sweet-ish, chocolately dark malty, slightly roasty and nutty aroma, notes of cocoa, roasted nuts, some nougat, minimally grassy, leafy and fruity hoppy overtones with a touch of mandarine. Taste is minimally sweet, chocolately dark malty, roasty, notes of cocoa, coffee, fruity hoppy overtones with hints of mandarine; smooth and soft palate, gentle carbonation, almost a bit watery though. Well balanced, harmonious - very nice!
