UPDATED: JAN 25, 2013 Bottle from Craft Brixton. Colour is cloudy chestnut brown to dark brown, with an off white head. Nose is big and malty, chocolatey, ’Shreddies’ cereal, brown sugar and some zesty hops aromas of blackberry. Mainly very malty though. Taste is a cornucopia of flavours. A lot of fruity hop. Blackberry, lemon citrous, bitter sours, touch of pine, and lots of maltiness and chocolate. There’s a bit of coffee coming through in the finish too. Lots going on but I like it. It has a thick texture and some dryness but it works. Really think these guys are making interesting beers packed full of flavours.
1.8.2014. Appearance is brown both in beer and head. Aroma of malts, wood and nuts. Taste is somehow roasted and bitter with hints of nuts. Somehow muted and not that well balanced. anders37 (26137) - Malmö, SWEDEN - DEC 14, 2014

Bottle at home, 27th November 14. Brown, the aroma is burnt sugar, and browned malt, some hops. The taste is good , malts with some muted hops, perhaps as the brew was a few months old. Good and enjoyable all the same, but not my favourite brown ale Fin (10470) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 20, 2014
