Bottle. Clear Dark Brown in colour. Average foamy tan head. Good lacing. Very Malty; toasty malts, caramel, coffee, nutty, hint of chocolate. Hoppy; light earthy hops. Moderately bitter coffee and nutty malty. Quite dry into bitter finish. (2016-07-10)

Draught @Kitty’s. Poured mahogany color with a thin but lasting light brown head. Nutty, creamy fudgy, chocolaty malty aroma. Flavor has chocolate, coffee, salty notes, toasted malt. Sweetish finish. Quite nice nuttiness. Caramel in finish.

(Keg at Gastropub Tuulensuu, 20160806) The beer dark brown and nearly clear. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had toasted malts and roasted nuts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, grass, roasted nuts and bitterness. Aftertaste was quite burnt and bitter. A pleasant nutty brew.

Bottle from Ales By Mail. Pours almost clear dark ruby with a small creamy tanned head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, resiny hops and liquorice. Taste is moderate sweet coffee with some vanilla and liquorice notes,low carbonated, bitter lovely finish.

Pours clear dark brown color with a small head. Chocolaty aroma, malty with hops and some nutty notes. Flavor is nice chocolaty, malty bitter, fair amount of hops here too, slightly bready with orange notes on the aftertaste. Good.
