Bottle, [email protected], Kolding. Pours deep opaque black with a small, staying creamy beige film head. Aroma has mild roasted malts, chocolate, plenty coffee, a slight nuttiness. Low carbonation, mild dry and slightly oily mouthfeel. Flavour has mild roasted malts, licorice, light salty, good coffee, but not overpowering. Fine, grainy bitter finish.

Tap. Pours deep brown nearly black with a small beige head. Aroma of coffee, nutty notes and bread. Sweet flavor that ends up being more dry and slightly bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A nice Porter indeed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

From tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours a blackish with a big, beige head. Aroma has lots of nice, fresh coffee, dark chocolate, dry, pretty roasty, oats maybe? Light licorice as well. Taste is medium sweet, medium dry, light fruity coffee acidity, dark chocolate, medium bitter. Smooth body and an average carbonation. Really really nice for what it is!

Black with a solid khaki cap that stays for a while before slowly dissipating.
Nose is light roast, hop notes, cocoa powder, dark fruits, treacle toffee, light spice.
Taste comprises subtle coffee notes, chocolate biscuit, mellow spice, chocolate cake, roast malts.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close.
Decent flavoursome porter but lacked the coffee bite I expected and have enjoyed in other BBNO offerings.
