September 16, 2017 with harrisoni and lagerloather - at Brew By Numbers - bottle. Was getting pretty damned toasted by this point in the day, but ... soldiering on. Black, nice tan head. Aroma is huge coffee, alcohol, some baker's chocolate and light herbal bitterness. Taste - more chocolate, less coffee and alcohol. Nicely carbonated, finishes all coffee roast bitterness - big, but good.
UPDATED: FEB 22, 2018 Tap Casc Aberdeen. Pours a thick jet black with a creamy light tan head. Yup, pretty much perfection. Aromas have a smooth deep roast coffee and cream. It's milky, creamy but deeply roasted. Taste has a smooth but dark and rich milky coffee. There's a touch of fruitiness. A zing of jelly fruit. The chocolate is beautifully decadent and strong. It feels silky smooth with a gentle carbonation. It's rich perfection. A deep roast coffee with a silky smooth chocolate coating. It's undeniably strong but ferociously good. Top notch coffee beer. ogivlado (8446) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JAN 30, 2018
On tap at Craft Room Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head, pleasant coffee nose. Roasted malt, roasted coffee, dark chocolate and touch of alcohol with again pleasant coffee notes in the finish. Really really nice and enjoyable. Iznogud (5000) - CROATIA - JAN 27, 2018
On tap at Zagreb Craft Beer Week. Black with medium brownish head. Chocolate, coffee, roasted, malty, cocoa, sweet, nice bitter finish. Full bodied. A proper well rounded impy and the best beer of the festival. Marko (6385) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - JAN 18, 2018
Tap at Craft Room. Pitch black body with a tiny creamy grey-tan head with good retention. Smooth coffee aroma, really nice, with a fruity touch backed by solid maltiness. A shitton of coffee in the taste, edged with some dark chocolate, sweetish, with a nice malty touch, ending bitterish (coffee-like). Liiiight notes of alcohol. A classic strong coffee porter without major issues. Excellent.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at the brewery. Pours black with a lasting, creamy beige head. The aroma has a lot of ashy roast, well toasted coffee, dry cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with more drying ash, bittersweet chocolate, dirt, scorched earth, strong bitter coffee, espresso. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Moderately warming in the finish, with some sticky burnt sugars, more ashy dryness, bitter baking cocoa, more torched earth, wood, bitter coffee. Quite sturdy. Good fun. zacgillbanks (5737) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - DEC 31, 2017
Duromina Ethiopian Coffee; Brewed in collaboration with Workshop Coffee For Uppers & Downers.
Black with a thick, dark tan head of foam. It has a very rich liquorice, dark chocolate and dried fruit flavour followed by oak, vanilla and herbal roasted coffee on the very warming spiced finish. Excellent!
