Bottle from Beermerchants. I think this beer was a whisker from full points looks wise. Creamy peach gold with nice bubbles and a creamy tight white head. If it had been taller and hung around I'd have been in heaven. the aromas are fruity initially. fresh pineapple and sherbet. A dry spice adds warmth. Nothing here is strong but it certainly is lovely. The taste continues the fruity profile. A balanced pepper adds a moreish dryness. The beer has a creamy smooth body feel that lightens slightly on the finish. It's surprisingly balanced for a big beer and feels far lighter than the abv suggests. I could imagine some would complain it isn't bold enough. Personally I loved its light creamy fruitiness.

330ml bottle. Pours hazy gold, good white head. Aroma is bright, fresh, zesty. Taste similarly quite zesty and fresh-tasting for a tripel, with some creamy notes emerging. Quite crisp, the tripel character is pleasantly overshadowed by floral, fruity hops. Bit different for the style. Enjoyed it.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours hazy gold with a creamy, white head. A little zesty citrus, pithy grapefruit, mellow yeast noes. Medium sweet flavour with more pithy citrus, crisp wheat bread, spicy yeast, mild bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, more pithy citrus, prominent hops, wheaty sweetness, straw. Nice beer.

Keg at the brewery tap, 11/03/17.
Hazed golden orange with a well presented off white covering.
Nose is fruit rinds, spice, caramel, fruit loaf, toffee.
Taste comprises fruit loaf, caramel, dark fruit rinds, toffee apple, light spice, stewed prunes, figgy jam.
Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good hop presence.
Solid for style … the hop bite keeps it sharp and drinkable and never cloying.

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Hazy pale gold lasting white head. Fresh aroma, Belgian yeast. Some candied peel fruity sweetness, but in a good way. Some white wine flavour. Some orange candied peel. Always been a fan of tripels and because BBNo tend to brew quite dry beers, this one doesn’t get too sweet. I can see still too sweet for some but I liked it.
