tiong (7516) - Espoo, FINLAND - OCT 14, 2017
330ml bottle from Ales by Mail. Bottled 15/03/17. Pours golden orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of yeast, earthiness, spices and grassy hops. Taste is spicy, yeasty and ripe fruity with some notes of banana, earthiness and loads of yeastiness. Finish is stuffy, yeasty and ripe fruity with some grassy notes, citrus and banana. A bit too stuffy and yeasty.

bartlebier (4118) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - AUG 22, 2017
330ml bottled 03/2017 Bermondsey-to-BI courtoisie d’idiosynkrasie, Freiburger merci! - Another incremental BbNrs study of what De la Senne attenuation and Baby Duvel yeast spice can do go english malts and frsh hops. Peppery nettle, preserved lemon, hay and thyme aromas on dry biscuit cereals. Taste dominated by balanced yeast spice (white pepper, some clove) and noble hop grassy bitters, while the malts add some pillowy biscuit character, stopping short of soggy sandwich bread. A cfew controlled rusticity operating in the back, gentrified saison playing in a De la Senne league. What another lovely English baby Taras Duvel, landing at the ideal abv middle of the two.

simontomlinson (559) - Blackburn, Lancashire, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2017
Brilliant white frothy head stayed well on a hazy, lemon coloured body. Pith, yeast, outdoors, fresh & lemon aromas. Medium bodied. Airy on the palate, crisp, clean & dry on the back with a zesty tingle. Bitter citrus, Belgian yeast, lemon, & grassy tastes with a bitter, tangy finish.

Bottle from Ales By Mail. It pours hazy yellow - gold with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, bready, cereal, nougat, spice and custard. The taste is crisp, dry, bready, hay, straw, hay, spice, white bread, apple, pear and a touch of lemon zest. Finish is firm and dry. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Well rounded and drinks easy. Decent.

TBone (18099) - Pori, FINLAND - JUN 30, 2017
Bottled 330ml (AbM)
Hazy yellow colour, medium-sized white head. Aroma has white pepper and wheaty banana. Light-bodied. Certainly Belgian yeast dominates, white pepper, dry fruityness, earthy and spicey hops. Bitterish grapefruity finish. Robust Belgian IPA.

3.8
Idiosynkrasie (7848) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUN 21, 2017
330ml bottle. Cloudy, bright yellow-ish, deep golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Herbal, yeasty spicy, slightly bready and grainy malty, minimally citrusy, grassy hoppy aroma, hints of sage, mustard seed, lemon, black pepper, some apricot and peach, pear and basil. Taste is dry, fruity, herbal-spicy yeasty, slightly citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon, sage, mustard seed, hints of unripe peach. Very nice and refreshing Farmhouse IPA.
