Keg at the brewery. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry and with decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, slightly thin, mild creamy sweetness. Mildly spicy orange and a little yellow grapefruit. Light bitterness. Trace off pine. Nicely citric and light, but not as good as some other recent double DIPAs from this brewery.

Scopey (16226) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 6, 2018
Keg at BBNo. It pours hazy bright golden with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, creamy, apricot, peach, fruit smoothie, bit of bubblegum and brioche. The taste is dry, some bitterness, bready, fruit smoothie, pithy, zesty, creaminess, grapefruit, pomello, fleshy stone fruits, bit of spice, grass and alcohol heat with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Well rounded and quaffable.

Aroma: strong mosaic notes - onion, parafin oil, musty notes (?). Maybe some citrus on backstage, some alc. too. Taste: quite refreshing, but bit alc. and with hoppy-alc. aftertaste. Head is poor, beer is hazy and its color is pale yellow.

karpik (1504) - Sosnowiec, POLAND - DEC 22, 2017
Loads of melon, pineapple, apricot and passionfruit in nose. Pours hazy yellow with small white head. Taste is medium dry with melon and pineapple followed by apricot, citrus, some cereal and booze. Medium to low bitter finish, soft carbonation. Overall very good DIPA, extremely drinkable.

Leighton (22773) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 20, 2017
Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the brewery. Pours mighty murky, golden-orange, with a creamy, pure white head. Massive aroma, certainly fruity, with lots of peach, melon, bubblegum, tangerine, mango. Light to medium sweet flavour, with some pithy dryness, minerals, a little alcohol, semi-ripe citrus fruits, biscuits, lemon, grapefruit. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish, with a little resin, more pithy citrus, peach, melon, rindy and grassy bitterness. Starts really well with that ample snout, but things don't sing as loudly from there. Still a very nice DIPA overall, though.
