"a decent enough nutty malty brown ale. light in body and flavor, but what is there is nice, and makes for a decent session ale...nothing less, nothing more." Ungstrup (37231) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 10, 2011
Draft. An amber beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and metal as well as a light note of something skunky, leading to a dry and metallic finish. JaBier (7806) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - SEP 7, 2010

Aroma: 4/10; Appearance: 7/10; Flavor: 4/10; Palate: 6/10; Overall: 8/20
I’ve had this in the bottle and on tap on several different occasions. On tap would probably be my favorite. My rating on this will be on the bottled version. A medium sweet (undefined) aroma. Reminded me a bit of smelling a sugar bag, with a touch of vinegar. Appearance is a chalky brown, off-white head with a medium thickness to it. Flavor has that odd acidic/vinegar like quality, but mostly it’s lightly roasted, with a touch of nut and malt to it. Easy to drink, but I think I’ll stick with this on tap. timfoolery (1126) - California, USA - JAN 10, 2009
Bomber from Brew It Up. It’s too bad this brewery gets a bad rap on the ratings system. The brown was exceptionally smooth, although medium-bodied. There’s really no carbination to speak of, but I tend to like that. Good palate, enjoyable brown. DTM (798) - Winters, California, USA - JAN 6, 2009
Bottle from Brew it Up! in Sacramento, CA. Poured a brown color with a small head. Nutty flavor with a hint of chocolate. Medium bodied beer that was very even on the palate. Good beer. Oscbert (1296) - Lincoln, California, USA - OCT 17, 2008
~Pours a brownish amber color with small creamy head.
~Has a mild malty scent.
~Has a toasted malt flavor and maybe chocolate?
~Medium feel, light bitter finish.
Roasted flavor is strong and distinct. Pretty good brew. Scent was definitely lacking.
