2.4
shrubber85 (11324) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - SEP 24, 2008
Tap. Butterscotch candy and malt aroma. Amber color with small head. Old butter and barley malt flavor with moderate grass hops finish. Strong diacetyl level - maybe a bit old.

3.3
elihapa (1552) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - AUG 23, 2008
On tap, Brewpub. Pours a yellow orange color. Aroma is on the light side, but definitely features some citrusy notes (perhaps lemon zest), and hops. Flavor is a surprisingly appealing mixture of grapefruit, orange, lemon, and some sweetness for balance. Not nearly the most bold or novel IPA I’ve had, but you gotta five this brewery props for putting out some real drinkable stuff.

3.4
BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - JAN 21, 2008
Taster - Brew Moon Brewery - Honolulu, Hawaii
2008 - Hawaiian Beer Run
Aroma – A very light aroma. I think I smelt some hops.
Appearance – Golden yellow color, clear with a small head.
Flavor – A nice easy to drink beer with a good light flavor.
Palate – A decent nice easy dry Mouthfeel.
Overall – Not bad this was a good go out and surf all day and need a beer at the end type. Just a pick up and chug beer.

3.4

padrefan98 (854) - (San Diego) Santee, California, USA - MAY 31, 2007
Sampled at the brewery. Tastes of hops with a nice creamy finish. I would have liked a full pint of this one.

3.4
fordest (2470) - Santee/San Diego, California, USA - MAY 29, 2007
Draft at brewpub. Not bad. Hoppy aromas were sided with somewhat hoppy flavors. Not much in the way of malt, but a decent APA.

3.7
swanmann (764) - Nompton, Oklahoma, USA - MAR 18, 2007
Taster had a brassy astringent aroma. Hazy iced tea color w/ sustained thin creamy tannish head. The nice hoppy profile still allows for gentle malty sweetness. Palate may have been stronger if it hadn’t been sitting too long.

3.5
chadzter (94) - huntsville, Alabama, USA - JAN 28, 2006
Sampler. Pours a sparkling golden orange with a medium head. Very smooth with a good balnce of hops that stand out over all. With roasted malt flavor that has a slight sour after taste. Has a creamy texture to.
