Brew Wharf vs Danko Pale ale : goûté au fût au Brew Wharf, superbe pale ale, exotiques, fraîche, citronnée, bonne amertume.

Cask @ Brew Wharf, 20/08/13. Pours orange with a small, off-white head. Aroma is quite Belgian with those fruit esthers, yeast, apple. Taste is semi-sweet with clear Belgian yeast again. Spicy, peach, yeasty marzipan apple. Spiciness coming to the forefront on the finish with light herbal touches. Soft and smooth with no carbonation.

August 21, 2013 - hand-pull cask at Brew Wharf. Clear and bright refractive amber-gold with a small white drool of head. Smells like a somewhat grassy light hefe - pretty solid, not much alcohol. Taste - yep, noble hops, hefeweizen sweetness, interesting scotch peat and mineral tang overlay - one of theist tantalizing beers I have had this trip. Light body, a real "tang" To it, but quick-finishing. Good stuff

Cask at Brew Wharf - Borough, London. Pours clear gold with a fine, foamy white head. Nose has some nice, doughy bread and Belgian yeast. Medium sweet flavor with rich and doughy bread, bananas, candi sugar, faint bitter hay. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet bredy malt finish, touches of yeast, some ripe banana and other fruits. Very tasty. Well balanced.

Cask handpull at Brew Wharf Borough. Clear gold lasting thin white head. Interesting slightly sweet caramel saison. Good hop on the finish. Good mouthfeel. Just an interesting slightly sweet beer with good hops and a saison yeast.

Cask at brew wharf. Pours a slightly hazy light amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma is OK, a little perfumy, grassy, a little yeasty, light lemon going on too. Light to medium body, very light carbonation. Slightly sour, with lemon, banana, some tart apple and some bready maltiness happening. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
