So good we named it twice, and hopped it thrice. Brew York is everything a great beer should be. A huge aroma to tantalise and tempt the taste buds, a beautifully fresh and juicy tropical taste, and a finish that makes you crave that next sip. Expect blackcurrant, expect grapefruit, and expect an urge to start spreading the brews!

Appearance- amber, golden tinge, a foamy off-white head. Cask-like. Aroma- mango, orange, fruity hops, trace of pineapple, malty hints. Taste- juicy fruit, orange peel, pineapple and grapefruit, hop resin, good malt backbone, slightly bitter. Nice and refreshing.

Can at home from welfare ASDA. A mostly clear golden coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Some yeasty bits at the bottom of the can. Aroma is nice juicy floral orange , candy orange with background mellow apircot and peach. A little toffee malt rounds out the nose. Flavour is composed of solid base malts, light toffee, orange rind, candied orange hop. Light grain husk bite in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, highish carbonation, light grainy. Very decent.

Considering how tasty the Session IPA from this brewery is, I was a little disappointed with this concoction, but merely because I had mentally set a bar that was in reality too high. Nevertheless, it is a thoroughly enjoyable IPA, but towards the darker end of the spectrum. 330ml can from Asda.

Can picked up from Asda at Brighton Marina, consumed at Sirius Boardwalk Apartments, Thursday 18th January 2018 in the company of Barry and Lynn Gold in colour with a white head. Crisp and fruity, I get more citrus (think grapefruit) than tropical than. Clean, bitter and a little dry back end. Really pleasant. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Can. Amber coloured beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is yeasty with bitterness, and the flavour is bitter with some hops and yeastiness. Overall an average American Pale Ale.
