Ron's rating

   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 13/20
Ron (4110) - Rochester, New York, USA - MAY 31, 2005
During my stay in Aniheim to take the family to Disneyland, this was one of only two local beers I could find. All stores had imported beers or the Macros. This beer safely made it with me across the country traveling in my dirty laundry bag. Still it had a sizable head and nice red color. Alittle yeast at 1st. JB and I enjoyed this 24 oz bottle while barbecuing.

12oz bottle-A light amber body with a small off white head and an aroma of malts and hops. Taste of the same but much better than the blond. Could of been worse.

Bottle. A reddish brown color with a light tan head. A strong cherry aroma with a malty cough syrup flavor. Rating from 2005 notes.

Hazy red orange with big head. Nice flowery aroma. Yeasty taste to start , some malt in the palate. I enjoyed this beer. Special thanks to Ron for crossing the country with it to share with me.

(12 oz bottle: Hi-Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa, CA) Ladies and gentlemen, step right up. Welcome to a review chronicling a momentus occasion, for what you are about to read will fill you with awe. What I have here is a bottle of Brewbakers beer that is NOT infected! Yes folks, as astonishing as it might sound, believe it! And not only is it not infected, it’s not even a horrible tasting beer! Okay, it’s not the greatest flavor, but I’m just happy it isn’t sour. It’s fairly malty and very sweet, but the sweetness is sugary rather than malty. Mild hops is barely detectable, so this is just a sweet beer, but for some reason, though one-dimensional and pedestrian, I think it’s reasonably enjoyable. Nose echoes the sweet, malty flavor. Dark amber color with a ruddy tint. Small off-white head maintains a thin layer for awhile, and some small patches of lace are left on the glass. Thanks for attending my review, now exit carefully and have a great evening. Come back soon!

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2004 Light amber color with a smallish tan head. Sweet malt alcohol aroma. Taste was pure garbage malt with an almost as bad caramel. Thin bodied. I wanted to brush my teeth after this one.

elnadeau (786) - Laguna Niguel, California, USA - MAR 23, 2004
Amber-orange, small head. Malty brew with a tinge of hops in the finish. Drinkable but nothing distinctive about it.

HoppyBunny (88) - Temptation, Michigan, USA - FEB 3, 2004
Very orange in color, head faded fast! flat almost, light smell, not a favorite not will I jump to drink again.

SG (465) - Valley Center, California, USA - JAN 31, 2004
Orange-like color and a small head. Subtle malt and hop aroma. BeerLimey has the flavor pegged. Pretty blah, drinkable.

BeerLimey (2154) - California, USA - JAN 7, 2004
Pale clouded amber, decent head formation. Subdued aroma, clean malts and a hint of fruit. Relatively clean palate, a touch of caramel, a touch of sugar, sour hoppiness in the finish. Not much emphasis or anything going on.
