golden, not much head. aroma and flavour of sweet chewy malt and tropical fruits: mandarins, mango, orange, pinapple maybe. pretty tasty and refreshing. Dandm (125) - AUSTRALIA - SEP 5, 2016
Deep cloudy brown with sediment. No head and little carbonation. Good malt character. Caramel, citrus, spruce, earth. Mild sweet and very little bitterness. Overall quite bland, with a watery mouthfeel. Yeasty, weak aftertaste. Threepwood (107) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 21, 2009
I had this off the tap at a pub in Adelaide months ago and was wow-ed by it, the beer was fabulous. The bottle version (this rating) is a little disappointing in comparison. Dark amber with a nice persistent head, looks fantastic. Nice aromas of fruit and sweet sugars. Clean and smooth with light carbonation favors the malts. Overall a really nice beer and will buy it again; but if you can get it on tap don’t hesitate to try it. This my second Brew Boys beer and I’m really impressed with what they are doing. a good pale ale, nothing exceptional but not too bad. Brewboys have never really been my favourite brewer kearnsy (68) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUN 22, 2009
Pours amber, slightly cloudy colour, nice off white head that hangs on well. Looks magnificent. Smell has me in straight away, sweet candy, apricot, passion fruit, biscuit and sour dough bread. Flavour is held together quiet well on the palate, sweet malt and very crisp hop flavour towards the end. Slightly fizzy on the palate, but nice and creamy as it goes south. I would class this is a true Aussie pale ale - an excellent cross between an American Pale and an English Pale. Highly recommended. Great beer, well done!

A nice pale ale without being outstanding. It had nice taste and a pleasant beer to drink.
Bree boys have a great celler door which is well worth visiting if in Adelaide.
