330 ml bottle. Clear, deep mahogany body with a fast disappearing tan head. Nice aroma of mainly dark malt, whisky and wood with some dry fruit. Slightly boozy but pleasant flavor of dark malt, whisky, wood, dry fruit, brown sugar and warming alcohol with moderate bitterness. Fine body and long aftertaste. A nice beer for sipping.

No no, piwo w kartoniku. Fajne to dodaje to prestizu, zreszta, takowe jest. Ciemno brazowe i geste z niewielkim przeswitem blisko nozki kieliszka. Piana bezowe ale niezbyt trwala. W smaku to alkoholowe cieplo rodzynki no i oczywiscie rum. Sporo sie go wyczuwalo. Kartonik do kolekcji, polecam.

Dark brown body with a small, light tan head that laces the glass well. Lovely aroma that is very strong and malty, with raisins and other sweet dark dried fruits, dark caramel, chocolate and a general vinous feel with traces of whisky in the back. Intense and absolutely stunning flavours that follow the aroma. The taste is moderate plus sweet and the long-lasting finish is heavy bitter. The alcohol is rather obvious, it’s a bit boozy, but it’s an incredibly clean and pleasant alcohol that matches the intense flavours perfectly. Full body, creamy, smooth and a bit oily texture, soft carbonation. One of the very best beers from BrewDog (and that says a lot)!
[33 cl bottle, batch 210, enjoyed as I watched Pirates of the Caribbean, arrrr!, 19 months after bottling, from Vinmonopolet Vika]
