Brewed in collaboration with Jeppe from Evil Twin Brewing (and named after his mum), this Double IPA is big on fruity flavours.
The latest instalment in our “Hello My Name Is…” series, this beer has been built on the same robust malt base as its predecessors and single hopped with Mosaic for lots of tropical, passion fruit and citrus flavours. Loaded with well over 100kg of blueberries, this is one super fruity hop bomb.
Malts: Extra Pale, Caramalt, Wheat
Hops: Mosaic
Twist: Loaded with heaps of blueberries

Hello there. Sänkte denna på the Rover i Göteborg. Riktigt trevlig öl och ett trevligt ställe ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amber/Red color with white short-lasting head. Aroma is sweet, fruity (red and tropical fruits, apple and peach) and hoppy. Grapefruits, hops and pine are present on the taste, with clear and strong sweet touches due to blueberry and sweet caramel. Aftertaste is between sweet and bitter, which does not persist so much.

33cl bottle shared. Pours clear amber with a small off white head. Smells of caramel, sweet fruits, ripe berries and some resinous notes. Taste starts sweet and develops super fruity (tropical fruits, berries, red oranges) with citrus peel and sweet notes. Medium hoppy dry finish. Very good.

from la Mise en Bière</> - pours a hazy reddish-orange beer with a moderate foam left; blueberries appear evident in front of a fair resiney and flowery hoppiness; full-bodied, a subtle yet fair carbonation, some sweetness and a late fruity sourness; a long resiney hoppy bitterness develops in the finish where the blueberries are more discrete

Hazy amber color, tons of perfumy nose blueberries in the nose. Big malty backbone with big blueberry notes. This is the biggest bad ass blueberry beer I’ve ever had. Very nice but doesn’t blow me away.

Bardzo intensywny aromat owocowy - owoce tropikalne i borówka przede wszystkim, w tle trochę cytrusów i lekki alkohol. Piana niewielka, barwa piwa bursztynowa. Warka do 9.10.’14.

Aroma : Grapefruit, sweet tropical fruits, berries, light toasty/biscuits/caramel.
Appearance : Hazy, dark golden color. Medium white head.
Taste : Medium sweet, sweet fruits, medium bitter, light alcohol.
Palate : Full body. Sticky texture. Warm, long light bitter finish.
Overall : Nice full, sweet, fruity DIPA.

Bottle. Pine & lime hop aroma with a fruity spicy edge. Cloudy amber , low golden foam. Melonoidin, roast, blueberries noticable but fitting right in. The spicy hops and berries make me think of flavored vodka for some reason. Medium body, a bit tinny dry on the tip of the tongue. Berry/hop aftertaste.

330ml bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Hazy orange brown, not much head. Strong sweet syrupy hop aroma. Blueberry hop flavour. Sharp with very bitter aftertaste. Big bold blueberry DIPA.

I expected more. Tried at Ted’s Tarproom in 2014. Light mouthfeel, little aroma, and a small amount of fruit hoppiness.
