Brewed in collaboration with Jeppe from Evil Twin Brewing (and named after his mum), this Double IPA is big on fruity flavours.
The latest instalment in our “Hello My Name Is…” series, this beer has been built on the same robust malt base as its predecessors and single hopped with Mosaic for lots of tropical, passion fruit and citrus flavours. Loaded with well over 100kg of blueberries, this is one super fruity hop bomb.
Malts: Extra Pale, Caramalt, Wheat
Hops: Mosaic
Twist: Loaded with heaps of blueberries

Bottle at home. Clear amber body with a small head. Heavy fruity hops, pineapple, tropical fruit with a hoppy blueberry finish. Some booze in there as well. Medium carbonation.

Hazy orange with a lasting white head. Big hoppy aroma of citrus, peach, pine and tropical fruit, with little else. Sweetish fruity flavour with lots of hops, and a good, elegant bitterness that lasts

Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a deep orange with a small white head. Nose is so fruity- lychee, blueberries, passionfruit and grapefruit. Touch of booze in there too. Very appealing nose. Taste is pretty balanced - more lychee and blue berries. Booze still lingering. toffee malts add to to sweeten the finish. Woulda liked the booze hidden a bit better. Overall a solid double ipa ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours deep amber with a large head. Nose shows fruity hops, sweet crystal malt, passion fruit, lychee and pear. Fruity flavours too, but this time the blueberry comes into play in a subtle way. Lots more sweet clean malt in true Brewdog fashion followed by an aggressive, piny bitterness. Body feels a little thick.

AROMA: medium-intensive, sweet tropical fruits, rather hop-based, no specific notes of blue berries; APPEARANCE: dark amber, hazy, visible particles of suspension TASTE: fair sweetness as well as bitterness (not only from hops but also from alcohol); PALATE: medium body, soft carbonation; quite long but not astringent bitterness; OVERALL: very pleasant beer, but where is the tonne of blueberries?

330 ml bottle, at Café Sara, Oslo. ABV is 8.2%. Orange-pinkish colour, off-white head. Aroma of fruity hops, just a hint of blueberries. Very fruity and quite sweet flavour - sweet malts, fruity hops and blueberries.

Flaske fra vinmonopolet.klar Rav/mørk gylden farge, hvit skumtopp. Medium karbonert. Smaker malt, karamell, malt, furunål sitrus, grapefrukt, gjær, krydder og ikke minst blåbær. Smaker myye bedre enn jeg hadde trodd. Mye frukt i denne. Svært god

Cunningham (7946) - Halden, NORWAY - MAR 1, 2014
Appearance: Clear deep golden color with a nice thick creamy off white head. Good lacing.
Aroma: Balanced fine grapefruit hoppy and fine fruity.
Palate: Medium + body. Tad sweet and a rich bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste:Rich grapefruit hoppy and pleasant fruity.
Overall impression: Well blended and high nice ale. Did not notice the blueberries. Although a fine fruity DIPA.
Personal stats: Bottle at Dags beer fest Feb14

Flaske 0,33l fra Vinmonopolet, Tromsø Sentrum. Drukket på RV124 17 Feb 14. Gyldenbrun. Høyt luftig skum som etterlater litt lacing. God bæraroma med innslag av aprikos. Smaken er søt frukt. Avslutter bittert. Utmerket øl!

tony_gorilla (159) - Drammen, NORWAY - FEB 23, 2014
Bottle from systembolaget enjoyed at home. Pours redish color with a small white head. Taste is not too bitter and some blueberries aftertaste.
