Bottled. Amber coloured. Light beige dense head. Aroma: Ginger, perfume, soap, herbs. Flavour: Ginger, herbs, flowers, sweetness, soap, medicine. Medium bodied. Ends soapy and full of ginger. FaithHealer1 (358) - SCOTLAND - SEP 11, 2012
Bottle from Beer Ritz, Leeds. Pours a deep, clear amber, thin white head. Aroma is ginger beer. Just ginger beer - specifically Fentimans botanical ginger beer, if you’re looking for it. Taste is interesting though not all that enjoyable. caramel, spice, a little bit of resin. Very low bitterness, which is to its detriment - it reminds me of a low ABV beer in that you can sense something is missing. I had to stop every now and then to remind myself that it was 7.5%. Admirable idea and interesting enough, but not fantastic or particularly enjoyable. AB:08 is a much more successful and convincing deconstruction. Pinball (12145) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 10, 2012
clear orange, small white head.
perfumey and flowery aroma, very herbal, very pleasant too.
flavor is herbal, flowery, stingy. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 10, 2012
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear deep golden with a white head. Very spicy aroma, loads of spruce up there. Rich, sweet body, quite some caramel, carbonation is a little low, spicy and herbal, lots of ginger, perhaps white pepper and again spruce. No real bitterness. 100912 yespr (45443) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - SEP 10, 2012

[330ml bottle, The Beerhive, Edinburgh] Pours a golden coppery colour with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet, slightly grassy and herbal. Not the normal kinds of herbs you get from beer - the kind you roast chickens with. The taste is actually alright, albeit pretty strange with the various spicy/grainy/minty elements. Having said all that, the overwhelming thing I get is sweetness, which isn’t that nice. It’s great to experiment though, but £4 a bottle? At least it was better than the Flying Dog one WeissGary (286) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - SEP 8, 2012
UPDATED: OCT 9, 2012 This is a cool beer and is my favourite out of the two International Arms Race beers, I feel that they are both pretty inactive, I wouldn’t call them favourites or even ones I would go out of my way to revisit however they are quite interesting no less and a good bit of international fun between two amazing breweries. Ruby red body, little to no head. Strong and sweet malty like aroma. Very smooth drinking experience despite the 7.5% abv. Quite a sweet up front creamy taste, tapers off with a little bit of an woody aftertaste. olio (10269) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 8, 2012

Pours clear copper color with a small head. Aroma of spices, herbs, mild malts, goose berry bush and toffee. Flavour of spices, toffee, malts, herbs and grass. Bitter palate, spicy kick at the end. A bit weird but not bad.

Aroma is rather spicy with rosmarine and herbs. Flavour is spicy with cinnamon, rosmarine and some herbs. Weird and messy but quite drinkable still. After this you know why they use hops nowadays.
Tap at Brew Dog Camden - 28/08/12.
Chill haze causes a slightly obscure copper colour with an off-white head.
Mint, herbs and medicinal notes on the nose.
Taste follows on similar lines to the aroma with an earthy/farmy background. Less mint in the taste than the aroma. Grain in the taste and vegetarian herb stuffing!
Light to medium body , moderate carbonation, quite wet.
Hmmm - stick to hops!
