Bottle. Had this fresh now lets see how it does. =) Pours clear dark brown with nice "shine". Big fizzy head that disappears pretty quick. Aroma: alot of dark fruits, big dark caramel sweetness, raisins, plums, almost overripe fruits, some rum notes along with some oak, smells nice! Taste: sweet dark fruits, toasty notes, slightly boozy, really smooth, barrel shines through. has gotten a slight sour note in there. All in all a tasty brew!

Bottle batch 176 bottled on 05-12-11 what ever the hell that is supposed to mean. Clear brown with a quickly disappearing beige head. Sweet malty nose with some rum notes. Medium body, thin texture, medium sweet with some roasted bitterness to pick it up. Brown sugar, caramel, dark dried fruits, wood, chocolate, light sherry notes, light dark rum, a little warming. Much lighter than I expected, but manages to conceal the alcohol really well and is quite easy to drink for the strength.

Black body, light brown head. Aroma has sweet liqourice, some molasses and dark fruits. Alcohol. Some cough medicine and coffee too. The rum might bring the bit too sweet notes for this one.

330 ml bottle. #176. Bottled 05/12/11. Dark red brown colour with a small tan head. Mild sourness, some sweetness, and roasted malt in the aroma. The flavour is sourish and roasted malty with some sweetness. 11.5% is well hidden. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Brown coloured and hazy. Has an off-white ehad, medium duration. Dark aroma, notes of soy-sauce, laqurice, medicine. Sweet malts, sweet flavor, more soft laqurice. Creamy, syrupy texture.

Bottle. Pours dark brown, with a fizzy tan head that fades quickly to a ring. Aroma heavy on dark fruits, sweet and boozy. Kind of caramely too. A little bit of vanilla and oak coming through. Definitely on the sweet and heavy side tastewise too, but the carbonation and burnt acidity cleans it up a little. Long burnt coffee in the finish. Medium body, wierdly enough fairly drinkable, which is dangerous. Its good, but didnt blow me away in any way.
