COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: I Hardcore You is a 9.5% Imperial India Pale Ale, an international collaborative effort between 2 of Europeís most rock ín roll brewers. This beer is a blend of BrewDogís Hardcore IPA and Mikkellerís I Beat You. After the blending, the beer was then dry hopped a further twice. Making I Hardcore You a beer which has been dry hopped four times, or maybe even six times. We kinda lost count.

A translucent bloody orange sits, calmly exuding a big white head of fluff. Aroma is all hops, delicious hops: spicy pine with a hint of sweet malt. Iím not a fan of hoppy beers but this is pretty close to perfection. A perfect balance of malt and spicy hops flow over a medium body. Simple, elegant, balanced and delicious.

tangerine, grapefruit and caramel nose. Nice full bodied lots of crystal malts. Alcohol very well hidden. On the malty side, which I usually donít like but wow this is great. Very drinkable. Not event that heavy dangerously drinkable. Excellent.

Bottle. Dark amber. Thin head and light lacing. Woody hop aroma. 1, 2 3 dry hop punch to the palate. Woody hoppy beer with a big balancing alcohol presence. Dry hop so you feel like your mummy has been well preserved.

Ambery hazy with a big bubbly head. Nose that wonderful fusty creaminess resin from the dry hopping, sweet dry bitter, hay and citrus. Mouth is big, slightly carbonated, sweet resin, lots of hop, herbs, some summer berries, maybe just a hint of blood orange, gives hints at the start that it might be cloying, but then bam, hop bitterness kicks in for a lovely dry finish. One tasty beer.

esox (1225) - Oulu, FINLAND - APR 24, 2011
Amber colour, somewhat frothy head. Sweetish exotic fruitiness, ripe berries, lots of resins, almost peppery, more citrusy hops in the finish. Ai hint of vegetably notes. Not too sweet, still sturdy with caramel and cookies. Intense bitterness, lingering and dryish finish. Very smooth texture. Very drinkable and tasty beer.

(bottle) pours a slightly hazy ruby-amber colour with a creamy off-white head. aroma of tropical fruit and a little too much resin, which makes it almost savoury, with lots of oranges, straciatella, some caramel and milk chocolate. flavour is mostly the same, lots of tropical fruits over a sweet malty backdrop, with a huge bitter finish, alcohol is not detectable. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Tap, Mikkeller bar. Pours an almost muddy orange brown color with bright orange highlights, with a very minimal head given with the pour. Really a hop bomb in the aroma, juicy, and very grapefruit driven with some sweet fruitiness in the aroma as well. Some caramel sneaks into the taste, but really stays aggressive with the hops, nice hop sting, and grapefruit drying in the finish. Medium body thatís a little sticky. Nice stuff fresh.

This is perfect beer, I just had one and I love Ipas. Had tried the Brewdog Hardcore and was wonderful, this one is even better. what a flavou, smell and taste...My favourite beer so far, along with Rochefort 10 and St. Bernardus 12 (havenít tried Westvleteren 12). I am now gonna try Imperial Stouts so as to cover all, and see if they are so great.
