In collaboration with the awesome Oskar Blues from Colorado, weve created this big, twisted 10.5% American style barley wine. With big boozy aromas thatll swirl round your nostrils and a sweet viscosity thatll cover your tongue from top to tip, this is a beer for people who enjoy nonsense and walking on tightropes. Even when the Circus packs up and leaves, youre left with a lingering warmth and bitterness playing in your month. - See more at: http://www.brewdog.com/product/shipwrecker-circus#sthash.e9vrs12U.dpuf

Tapped at Hostinec Richtar Jakub in Bratislava/Slovakia. Overall a boozy barley wine style beer. Aroma of malt, booze and some sweet caramel in the back. Color dark brown with a stable white/beige head leaving a good lacing. Taste is malty and a lot of dark chocolate bitterness coming from the chocolate malt. I did not taste any hops at all. The bitter character like I said was more dark chocolate and bitter coffee than any hops. Or the hops was way too much masked by the chocolate malt. Anyway, a simple malty and boozy beer.

Vrsesbarna megjelensről kilt a tartalmassg, illata nemklnben az sszetettsgtől hangos. Erős komlzottsg, csipetnyi alkohol, tlrett gymlcsk s borkabogys fűszeressg jelenlte a meghatroz, melyhez karamell, juharszirup, fenyő s melaszos malta ze trsul. Hasonl karakterisztikval rendelkezik, mint a Watt Dickie, melengető jellege s fűszeressge, olajos textrja alapjn mindenesetre egy karcosabb barley wine-ra szmtsunk.

Tap at RJ. Aroma is rich malty, caramel, but showcasing generous use of American aroma hops. Citrusy, orange, light resiny. Clear dark brown to ruby colour with stable head. Taste is initially cloying with caramel, chocolate and fruits, but after a moment gets cut through by decisive citrusy and zesty hoppiness, finishing balanced with long duration. Not a beer for faint-hearted. Glorious American barley-wine.

Caramel colored pour, cream colored head. Very resiny and fruity barleywine. I am not a fan of overly hoppy Barleywines and this one crosses the line slightly for me. Sweet, caramel, golden raisins. Just a bit too hoppy.

Fľaa. Tmava bordova farba, bena veskera ziadna. Vona ovocna, sladka, jemne karamel a med. Trosku prezrete slivky. V chuti na zaciatku velka sladkost, citit sialene alkohol. Neskor ovocne krasne tony, jemne citrus, prezrete visne najskor, prezrete slivky neskor. Stredne telo, stredna nasytenost. Pre mna prilis sladke, ale velmi pitelny barley wine.
