Keg and bottled, special
In collaboration with the awesome Oskar Blues from Colorado, we’ve created this big, twisted 10.5% American style barley wine. With big boozy aromas that’ll swirl round your nostrils and a sweet viscosity that’ll cover your tongue from top to tip, this is a beer for people who enjoy nonsense and walking on tightropes. Even when the Circus packs up and leaves, you’re left with a lingering warmth and bitterness playing in your month. - See more at: http://www.brewdog.com/product/shipwrecker-circus#sthash.e9vrs12U.dpuf
Malts: Extra Pale, Munich, Crystal, Chocolate

neuromatt (1225) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 6, 2015
330 mL bottle courtesy of Chris, served in a stem glass. Pours deep toffee with a small tan head that mostly remains and leaves a small amount of fine lace. The nose has big toffee, along with brown sugar, vanilla, dark fruit, a hint of chocolate and raisins. The flavour is moderately sweet with molasses, chocolate, figs, raisins, toasted malts and soft balancing hops. The finish is long and balanced between complex malts and a nice hoppy bitterness. On the palate it is medium-full in body with a syrupy texture. Overall, a very nice barley wine with nice malty complexity. 2015-02-05

Skinnyviking (9675) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 5, 2015
Bottle at home. Medium high creamy and lasting light brown head. Cloudy dark red body. Sweet wineous vedgtable straw raisin aroma. Alcohol dominated roasted malt pepper flavor with a high carbonation and a dry and long lasting finish with a good deal of hops bitterness.

Marstonlad (940) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 29, 2015
On tap BrewDog Helsinki. Pours dark brown with medium-sized head with a very good retention and lots of lacing. The aroma displays ripe dark fruitiness with sherry and vanilla; very potent yet refined overall. Taste is rich and diverse, only a touch of alcohol in the finish. Toffee, berries and sweet malty nuances drift around with a drying, bitter finish indicating plentiful hoppiness. The palate is full bodied, flat to medium in carbonation, fairly smooth. Can not tell which is better, Clown King or this one.

kustie (1281) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 13, 2015

radzik5555 (635) - Gdynia, POLAND - DEC 31, 2014
Butelka 0.33L.
Wygląd: Rubinowe, klarowne z iskrą. Piana obfita, drobno pęcherzykowa, kremowa, trwała. Ładnie koronkuje.
Aromat: Intensywny aromat amerykańskich chmielów, dojrzałe owoce egzotyczne, melon, marakuja, papaja i winogrona oraz nuty żywiczne. W tle odrobina nut melanoidynowych i ledwo wyczuwalny alkohol.
Odczucie: Niskie wysycenie, ciało wysokie-, faktura oleista.
