Smells of contreau (sweet orange liquor), zests, some dark fruits and malts. Heavy sweet, quite fruity, some burnt malt notes untypical for Brewdog’s DIPA’s, but it’s quite nice, candy and zests. Super oily sirupy texture, medium bitter finish. Quite nice
Bottle at Patricks. It’s a lightly hazy one, dark golden in colour and with a dark beige head of moderate size. Pineapple, herbs, pine cones and a citrus touch in the aroma. Pretty similar flavor, with the added joy of a good bitterness. Full body, pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish. A pretty pleasant one, but sort of one dimensional. 131029 Geokkjer (7627) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 29, 2013
