2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Amber to coper coloured ale. Sweet / bitter with lots of caramel, malt and some hops in the taste. You describe it as a malty amber ale, because of the caramel and bread tast. It’s medium bodied, with a dry ending (use of pale ale malt?). The hops aren’t dominating but are present. Nice bitterness but in the end a little too astringent in my opinion. I bought it in Belgium maybe if you can drink it fresh, the hops will cause more balance and the bitterness will be less astringent.
Como casi todas muy sobrevalorada para el contenido de la botella. Sus mejores facetas, aroma y visual. Navers (156) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JUL 22, 2017
Bottle from Maryhill Tesco, Glasgow. Beer served in 9°C, Duvel Glass. Pours dark ruby, nice thick head. Aroma is lemony, mandarin, resin, hoppy. Quite pleasant but disappears very quickly. Taste is malty, earthy and herbal hops, caramel, glucose, metallic, irony. cpoppy20 (2) - - JUL 17, 2017 does not count
Nice flavour with a little bitterness at the end. I'd order a second pint and then look for the next taste sensation for the third.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2017 Aroma: Toasted and citrus fruit notes.
Appearance: Red/brown color with cloudy liquid and white/tan head.
Taste: Light sweetness with light sour notes.
Palate: Medium body with oily texture and lively carbonation. Sweet and bitter roasted finish.
Overall: Toasted feeling but the hops leave a great memory. BeerLieutenant38 (98) - Cape Town, SOUTH AFRICA - JUL 10, 2017
Pours a somewhat hazy red-amber. Foamy off-white head with strong lacing. Aroma has prominent caramel malt notes with subdued fruity hops in the background. Relatively sweet flavour. The bitterness lurks in the background. Finish is dry. Light-medium bodied. It’s fairly subtle and I like that. Rychuku (115) - POLAND - JUL 7, 2017
Some sweet, red fruit aroma, the closest would be cherry. Mildly hoppy. Bronze/reddish colour, average head with holes appearing. The taste mainly influenced by Munich malt and caramalt, also fruity, but not impressingly. Bitterness mostly absent. Average body. My first Brew Dog, expected more. jamiemac87 (171) - Durham, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2017
Pours ruby with a small off-white head.
Malt and steeped fruit on the nose.
Taste is much of the same with a defined hop presence. Finishes nicely. Good.
