omhper (25256) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 19, 2010
Draught at Bishop’s Arms SoFo, Stockholm. Hazy amber, small head. Mild pineapple aroma. Surprisingly dry. Grainy and fairly clean. Quite hoppy with salt, grass and tropical fruits. No alcohol detected at all. Slightly resiny bitterness. Feels pretty much like an American version of Belgian beer with clean mouthfeel and a shiny hoppy surface, but not so much depth. How they manage to get a 10% beer this drinkable is beyond me.

Papsoe (25062) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 22, 2010
On tap. Clear amber golden with a small off-white head. Sweetish overripe fruit and alcohol. Quite full-bodied, a little low in carbonation, overripe fruit and yeast with a warming alcohol finish. A little young perhaps but already good. 070510

Light haze on the deep gold - amber beer. Thick frothy off white head. The head tastes of sweet toffee with a dash of creme brulee vanilla. Palate is crisp quickly turning frothy, also light and airy. Sweet toffee, a little aniseed licorice. Subtle vanilla. A minerally finish with bitter bubblegum. Slightly bitter aftertaste with a little hop. Good stuff.
