KØLF 281214. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is alcohol, licorice, booze, oxidation. Flavour is vanilla, whiskey, oxidation, alcohol, licorice, dried fruit, caramel. Too much in many ways. SinH4 (4971) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - APR 3, 2015
Dark brown color with no head. Sweet caramel, prunes, dark fruits. Full and sweet taste, like a liquor. Hot chocolate. A hint of juniper. Bitter piney finish in the end. Flat. Sweet and awesome! yngwie (17078) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 28, 2014
Bottle. An oily pour with no head. Almost clear body, dark amber in color. Quite oxidised aroma with lots of booze. Dried fruits, caramel sauce hints and some bread, Cellar hints and even more malts. It’s full-bodied and very warming on the palate, with no carbonation. Lots of flavor, like in the flavor, but it’s actually too much. Way too much all the way. Still, it’s nice in a way. Meant to share I presume. 141228 Stuu666 (13660) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 15, 2014
Bottles at home. Initially quite malty and sweet, very bitter. As it aged, more like a barley wine, oxidised, caramel, sweet toffee. Ibrew2or3 (8660) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JUN 21, 2014
Woodshed 3.0! Picked this up at the De Molen bottle shop about three or more years ago. The caged and corked 37.5cl green glass bottle pours with a murky copper body that supports a thin tan head. The aroma offers up inviting notes of molasses, caramel, brown sugar dusted prunes and then some vegetable notes. The taste is pretty smooth and thin and popping up aged brown sugar, earthy tea, some aged resiny pine hops and then fading echoes of fruit esters. The massive ABV is restrained pretty well. Nice but this was likely better a year ago.

Bottle shared via ibrew2or3 @ Woodshed 3.0! Thanks Dave! This just wasn’t a good one. Fiery crimson brew with a tightly packed eggshell head that left quickly. Loads of alcohol, sticky malt, and honey-dipped hops were present. The ABV was noticeable. Meh. Cuso (8734) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - MAY 30, 2014
UPDATED: JUN 9, 2014 Bottle kindly donated by Gurthnar, huge thanks. hazy red brown color with minimal head. Malt, chocolate, vanilla, wood, alcohol in aroma. Taste, malt, chocolate, sherry, plums, caramel, wood. Excellent. Gurthnar (5918) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - MAY 30, 2014
Bottle. Aroma raisins, milk chocolate. Fruity. Very light coffee. Light vanilla. Mostly clear deep amber-brown colour. No head. Taste has grapes, woody notes, caramel, initially cocoa, light coffee. Alcoholic presence is strong, but what go expect at 18 ABV? Considering this fact, the ABV is well hidden. Overall very very smooth, rounded, both in taste and flavour. Very nice aged experience.
