Clear but dark deep red color. Little carbonation and head.
Big nose of raspberries, vanilla and strawberries. Really surprised how the fruit had held up in this in the nose and the taste.
Well balanced between sweet and tart with enough notes of the barrel/ cask mixed in. Just slight wood character .
Waves of booze in the mouth here and there but a good mix and well balanced. maekchu (4054) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JAN 24, 2013
Bottle at sampling session. From notes (Oct. 8, 2011). Strawberries and raspberries in the nose. Light reddish color. Strong berry flavors. Very dry and with an alc. kick. Bitterness near and in finish. Fumes hit in the final. OrionBelt (32) - ITALY - JAN 15, 2013
Bottle, amber color. The nose ripe fruit, strawberries and malt. Mouthfeel is medium body, caramel, vanilla, strawberry, fruity, whiskey and wood, light citrus and sugar syrup. Low carbonation, slight hint of medicine. bierkoning (13674) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - NOV 19, 2012
Bottle. Amber color. Remeins of red fruit in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with raspberries and vinous notes. Tart with a hint of licorice. Citrus. Alcoholic. The fruit had faded. This beer doesn’t age really well. snzcujo (295) - RUSSIA - OCT 17, 2012
Tasted from the bottle @home on 17/10/2012.
Pours of lovely dark copper, crystal-clear color. Head is small off-white and quickly dissapears.
Aroma is full of berries upfront, definitely packs of raspberries, strawberries are somewhere behind. After several sniffs a very nice, elegant sourness appears. Very complex and intensive aroma!
Taste follows that pattern - astonishing mix of raspberrries upfront, tasty malt sweetness, wonderful bitterness lingering the back of the tongue - all covered with that lovely sour taste of fresh raspberries.
After few sips also could feel faint strawberry notes.
Having so much berries it, this beer is still has a "beer taste", pretty much drinkable and enjoyable.
Well done, Brewdog!

Bottle 3045 of 3200 at home.
Strawberry and raspberry nose. Tart light red-brown, sweet, fruity, sucrose, artificial sweetner, slight medicinal note. boFNjackson (4230) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 30, 2012
Bottle at a recent bottle share... Poured a cloudy reddish/ruby with a thin head. Some booze and oak with raspberry and strawberry tones. Lots of fruit and candied sweetness. Easy drinking with a thick body. OleR (4849) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 22, 2012
0.375 L, corked and wired bottle, brought home from Utobeer, London and cellared for 14 months. A medium tall, mostely diminishing off-white head, upon a orangey-golden body with lots of micro-floaters. Smells really nice. Subtle whisky, or maybe whisky liqueur, mixed with a fresh and delicate aroma from the berries added. Also faint caramel malts, wood and vanilla. Taste is vinous with a light astrigent berry flavor. Some sourness, faint caramel and tannins. Medium full, juicy texture. Sourish, astingent fruity endnotes. Foffern (1982) - Bodø, NORWAY - MAY 4, 2012
Bottle shared with (and great courtasy of) the fantastic Bergen tasting crew with such stars as ClubGonzo, Inbreak and Palme, and the mighty StoreMy. Has an amber colour and is slightly cloudy with a relatively small bubbly off-white head. The aroma has a distinct character of Belgian yeast and is sweet. Reminds me really much of sweet wine gums with strawberries. Towards the end feels wood, oak, and is slightly perfumy. In the flavour I find both sweet and sour berries, strawberry candy, crowberries, and a somewhat berry bitterness be the end. Light to medium bitterness with a smooth and soft mouth feel. A very distinctive and special beer with a wonderful aroma, but is ok on taste. olio (10542) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 21, 2012
375 ml bottle. Bottled on 08.09.2010. Bottle no. 2523/3200.
Pours hazy amber color with small head. Aroma has a humongous amount of berries, raspberry, bilberries, strawberries, mild hose hip and some fruity notes. Flavor of fruits, raspberries, bilberries, strawberries, some cherries, yeast and some grass. Quite fruity to say the least, bitter and somewhat sour palate.
