Die_Kapusta (191) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JAN 18, 2011
Pours black with no head.

Aroma is oak wood, molasses, moss, coffee liquer and licorice.

Taste is sweet, boozy, complex and intense. Licorice, espresso, muscovado sugar, wood, tar, sprout leafs, vanilla and leather.

Really rich mouth feel. Only negative is that it´s a bit too sweet. Love it though.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2011 Bottle. Pours out in an opaque black colour with a low creamy pale brown head. Rich aroma of milky chocolate, cocoa-powder, cherries and hot pepper. Full-bodied with rich sweetish and spicy notes of cocoa, milky chocolate, brown sugar, Turkish coffee, black pepper and mild chili. Long full sweet and hot finish of sweet milky chocolate with a growing heat from the chili. Pleasant and quite funny stuff.

Pours jet black with a brown head that disappears completely. Aroma is simple, with syrup, sweet chocolate and sweet chilli. Flavour is amazing though with a lot of sweetness, chocolate, coffee, chilli, vanilla, oak, a hint of bourbon and dates. Mouthfeel is smooth, thick and creamy and then surprises you with a slight chilli burn. Body is medium to big. An aftertaste of sweet chocolate and coffee lingers for a long time and makes you suck your gums. Despite it’s strength, there is no disturbing booziness, only a very slight, nice warming sensation.

Thanks to DarkGuardian for the taste. Chilis in the nose. Sweet and strong. Tasty brew and silky smooth.

Bottle. Pours black with quickly dissipating reddish brown head. Nose and taste of barrel, chocolate, coffee roast, chili pepper and vanilla. Lots of initial chocolate and vanilla with a roasted coffee and barrel aged chili pepper in the finish.

bottle 929. Pours an intense black, with a dark brown head that thins quickly. Aroma is chocolate, tar, dark fruits (christmas pud), alcohol. Palete is all dark fruit and chocolate, and there is a hint of chilie with a warming sensation. Great long dry dark chocolate finish, with again, just a hint of chilie

375 ml bottle from Systembolaget. Pitch black with small, brownish/tan head. Smells of dark chocolate, coffee, chili and some booze. Flavour is sweet with similar notes (also soy sauce) and some bitternes. Very tasty! Medium to full mouthfeel with very little carbonation and a long finish with chili. Very good overall.

caesar (7170) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - DEC 31, 2010
Bottled. Dark color. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, hint of peppery spice. Rich roasted malty taste, coffee, chocolat. Good bitterness.

Marsiblursi (3076) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 28, 2010
(Bottle, thanks mybestfriend) Pours black with a small brown head. The aroma is of aromatic coffee, dry cocoa and spicy chilly, go figure. There is also room for hops, soy meat, and tar asphalt. I like the nose; it’s extreme in every direction without being over the top. The flavour is heavily sweet (sucralose-like), medium bitter and medium acidic. Soy, syrup, roasted malt, sweet liquorice and caramelized meat. The mouthfeel is heavily syrupy and light carbonated. Lingering coffee roasted and super sweet finish. Full bodied.

KnutAlbert (6771) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 28, 2010
Bottle from the brewery. Old ropes, liquorice, coffee and molasses. Smooth mocca, cherries. Vienous. Amazingly well balanced, lingering coffee finish.
