Bottle. I thought this was absolutely brilliant. Wonderful roasted malt aroma, with hints of cocoa and mocha. Palate is full bodied, yet seems fairly dry for a Imperial Stout, with some slight warmth/heat, I’m guessing from the chilly. Flavour seems to go on forever. Lots of mocha and roasty cocoa flavours coming through. Really good balance (as far as extreme Imperial Stouts go). Love it a lot.
Bottle @Craig’s (Abstrakt tasting). Pours black no carb. Nose is dark fruits, cherry, fruit cake, chocolate, dark chocolate, slight coffee. At the Thessaloníki tasting, day 3. Thnx to Eric. Pours black, no real head. Smell is bit boozy. Dark malts, rich roastyness. Very mild aspects of coffee and chocolate, no clear sign of peppers left. Taste is full, thick, rich roastyness, dark chocolate, notes of coffee. No chillies left. Very oily. As usual with the AB, it is rather harsh, and low in carbo. Bottle thanks to cgarvieuk. At last! Many thanks for the chance to try it. Pours black with no real head. Aromas of chocolate, toffee, nuts. Taste is more of the same. Dark chocolate and cocoa. No spice left.

Black color, pouring oily, without head. Immediate aroma of chillies, and roasted malt; light pepper and duat; strange but not bad. Thick body, sweet; chocolate and malt flavor, with light roasted malts and luckily just a hint of chilly; correct bitterness, with pleasant coffee impression in the end. Very good.
A great creation well celebrated in the BD 6th anniversary. Nose is slightly boozy with classic chocolate and coffee elements. The tastes are rich and thick, featuring moderate elements of Chocolate and coffee, dark rich berries, licorice, tar and cherries. Brune foncée, col crémeux blanc-cassé.
Arôme au bouquet prononcé de malts, grillé, caramel, et plein de chocolat, l’épicé du piment perce bien.
Palais est sec, fruité noire avec un petit résiduel de sucre candi, chaleur venant des piments sans être surfait. Chocolaté est en fin de bouche. Thick, dark ruby red - no head and thin but thickset lacing. Rich - oddly coconut sweetness in the nose now, no heat and a thick milkshake roast nose. Odd clean nappy plummines. Thick set but very smooth, rich spiciness and a vibrant. Vinious fruitiness, dark cherry and then a big peppery smash. Finishes slow, muddy berry and a mire of sweet floral and coffee. Linger was smooth, reassuring and little bit more gritty spice. Still good, still special but nothing as throttling.

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2017 Pours black with no head. Aroma is vanilla, chilli. Taste is very smooth; vanilla, coffee, chocolate, cocoa and slight salt. Leaves a cocoa lacing on the mouth. A hint of cheap cider in the background. Rerate Jan 24 - aroma is cocoa and a hint of dried dark fruit. Taste is cocoa sweet, vanilla sweet, brownie mix.
