Bottled on 6.12.2011, bottle #1173/7902. Colour is reddish brown with no absolutely no head. Well the three years have made their worst. Aroma has roasted malts, raisin, ’date cake’, dried fruits and plums. Taste has date cake, sweet milk chocolate and caramel. Extra sweet taste on this one. Body is full and there is no carbonation left in this bottle. Deconstructed Blonde Imperial Stout. Wow. Well the experiment is quite good, but after 3 years some flavours might have gone away on this one. Still pretty enjoyable beer. madsberg (11799) - Søborg, DENMARK - NOV 23, 2014
Bottled Brown coloured. Small off white dense head. Aroma: Caramel, alcohol, fruits, some roast. Flaovur. Roast, caramel, chocoalte, alcohol, light molasses, fruits. Medium to full bodied. Ends light roasterd bitter. nickd717 (4997) - San Francisco, California, USA - OCT 11, 2014
Bottle. Hazy brown with no head like a barleywine. Caramel brandy oxidized aroma. The flavor it’s barleywine-like with big malt and booze. Rather oxidized with cider notes. Full body with minimal carb. Not great. olio (10692) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 11, 2014
375 ml bottle. No bottle number. Bottled on 12/2011.laiti (8531) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 11, 2014
Pours hazy dark red color with no head. Sweet toffee and caramel on the nose, some alcohol, malts, dark ripe fruits and molasses. Fruity, plum-y and sweet with caramel, some raisins and lots of alcohol, wet cardboard, faint wooden notes with a subtle vanilla finish. Not the balance I was hoping for. A disappointment.

Aroma is odd with potatoes, starchy tones, some caramel and toffee. Flavour has potatoes, starch, cardboard, caramel, toffee, alcohol and dried fruits. Also rather strong raisin tones. Not very nice, feels moldy & cardboardy and alcohol comes through too much. One could expect that a beer like this would survive three years but it seems that this was not the case.
375 ml bottle. Pours a murky brown amber colour with a small head. Aroma of toasted bread, some berries, earthiness and mild spiciness. Flavour of sweet malts, spiciness, apricot, dry wooden notes, some licorice and earth. Medium bodied and almost non-existent carbonation. Weird. Not at it’s best anymore. tiong (7754) - Espoo, FINLAND - OCT 11, 2014

Bottled on 06/12/11 - Pours dark brown with a small bubbly head. Aroma of syrupy malts, caramel, toffee and berries. Taste is syrupy, sweetish and malty with some caramel, raisin, berries and toffee. Finish is flat, sweetish and syrupy with some notes of raisin, berries and caramel. Quite strange.
Pours a medium tawny-ish sort of colour, with very little head.
Roasted, spicy aroma, chocolate, cocoa, caramel, licorice, coffee.
Semi-sweet, full bodied, mid to high bitterness, low CO2.
Roasted, malty taste, chocolate, coffee beans, coconut, wood (?), vanilla, faint smoke.
Quite enjoyable, but very odd, in an odd sort of way... (2014-09-20) The_Osprey (9698) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 8, 2014
Bottled in 2011. Poured into a snifter at home. Dark ruby, clear, totally still with no head at all. Not even a bubble. Aroma is sweet old ale, chocolate syrup - smells like chocolate has been added. Body is medium, totally smooth, no carbonation. Taste is sweet honey yet with a strong bitterness, malty barley wine, some more of that chocolate but it’s in the background. Interesting enough, just not my type of thing. It has nice characteristics, but it’s way too sweet for me. fiammanghilla (990) - Genova, ITALY - SEP 7, 2014
Assaggio @ cantinetta.
