joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - JAN 4, 2013
12 oz. corked and caged bottle from Papsoe. It pours a muddy amber brown color with a small disappearing head. The aroma is all over the place with cocoa, oxidized sherry and almonds, raisins, booze and caramel. The flavor is the same. Thick body with below average carbonation. A malt bomb with lots of residual sugars, fruit, candy caramel, nuts, cocoa and a surprisingly strong herbal bitter finish. Sweet, boozy and a bit messy/oxidized but actually pretty tasty as well.

zacgillbanks (5180) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - DEC 31, 2012
Bottle from Open All Hours, Keswick. An amber-brown coloured beer with a slight earthy woody nose followed by sweet red fruit, currants and a spicy warming finish.

douglas88 (9180) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 30, 2012
375 ml bottle thanks to Andrew and Santa. Pours a cloudy copper color with a small white head. A sweet big caramel and oxidized nose. A mellow flavor of light fruity hops, caramel, dusty, light wood. Much of a older American Barley Wine. The packaging is awesome, but nothing too unusual about the product. A nice brew overall. Clean and no heat. It’s not going to get better.

Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - DEC 28, 2012
28 dec 2012, bottle. Light gold/honey, clear, no bubbles. Nose is sweet yellow raisins, alcohol, golden syrup, and oddly some chilis. Med body and mildly fizzy. Serious golden syrup, alcohol, chilis. Decent. Don't know why it's called a stout. There's no stout here. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pyrmir (6094) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - NOV 18, 2012
Bottle at ÖÖWF 2012. Aroma dominated by green chili, rye and spices. Taste: full bodies, complex taste rich in chili. alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle, gift from esp0r, thanks! clear golden body, small white head. Aroma of coffee, rye, alcohol and yeast. Sweet malt taste, oak, with lots of alcohol and a wine-ish taste. Aftertaste of instant coffee and alcohol. Not my favourite abstrakt, Brewdog usually make way better beers than this one.

jookos (6762) - FINLAND - OCT 17, 2012
UPDATED: OCT 18, 2012 Bottle. Strangely spicy, some oaky notes, a bit of yeast esters. Light syrup, caramel. A strange peppercorn and onion- type of aroma, with a bit of chili peppers.

Enjoyit (3809) - Vadum, DENMARK - SEP 27, 2012
Clear amber of color with a small white head. An aroma of malt, sweets, dried fruits, figs, hops and citrus. A flavor of malt, hops, bisquit, bread, spice, liquricepowder and a bitter finish.
