Bottled. Somehow this one has just stuck around, without being drunk, but then again I suppose the extra aging hasn’t atleast made things worse. Deep ambery brown colour with a minor off-white head, which disappears quite quickly. Aroma is alcohol, chocolate, some sherry, mild ripe fruits as well as some raisins. Flavour is sweet malts, chocolate, some raisins, ripe fruits, mild sherry, berries, some toffee and mild nutty notes. Not all too disturbing alcohol, and in fact rather mellow. omhper (25129) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - DEC 23, 2012

On tap at Camden Brewdog. So after the somewhat stunted Hunters and Libertine - is there salvation in AB 10 at an eye watering £5.95 a third pint? The £18 pint? WTF? Hazy dark red beer, good pale tan head. Smooth soft palate, airy and semi dry. Light toffee malt and malt cream. Very nice berry things going on - mild blackcurrant, cherry and a whisper of strawberry. Finishes soft and smooth. A corker of a beer, well integrated and smooth, hides the abv really well. Plus I don’t think we have had anything like this from a British brewer and precious few from anywhere else. Reminds me of the Norrebro Port barrel beers a little. I would still have another, even at these prices ...
