Opaque black - brown beer. Big pale tan head. Nose of floral ginger with a whisper of tropical fruits. Palate is soft with mild fine carbonation. Sweetish and soft ginger. Sweetish dark malts. Licorice - aniseed alcohol. Touch of sweet candy. Smooth finish - mild alcohol warmth. Interesting but perhaps could do with a little age.

Bottled. Very close to black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is mild spices, fruits, plum, toffee and ripe fruits. Flavour is the same along with alcohol. Quite thick body. omhper (26343) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - DEC 23, 2012
Bottled, from Systembolaget. Almost black, small head.Lightly smoky nose with cinnamon and ginger. Sweet and sticky with massively full body and clean mouthfeel. Some honey and licorice. heated peppery finish. As always from BrewDog a very experimental beer sold at a high price. While this is decent I’m getting less and less excited by the day to pay high prices for experimental one-off batches instead of enjoying readily tuned recipes.
