COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s time for our interpretation of the classic Italian tiramisu dessert - AB:20. A blend of an epic English barley wine brewed with coffee, oats and milk.

AB:20 has a deep and alluring nose of molasses, brandy and a spicy hit from the rum cask. On the palate are rich, decadent flavours of coffee bean, chocolate and vanilla. Expect a full bodied and chewy brew with notes of caramel and biscuit. This beer gains complexity as it warms in the glass. Enjoy!

Molasses, hints of coffee, very sweet, raisin, dried fruit, choco, notes of rum, dark brown with no head, full body, oily, no carbonation, taste is quite similar but a bit boozy...very good.

Pours a murky brown with no head that frankly looks quite unappetizing. Aromas of caramel, roasted nuts, vanilla, coffee, cookie dough. Taste is very sweet with coffee and caramel upfront and some vanilla and toffee later. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation. No, interesting but not that good.

0,375L bottle bought at HK Brewcraft. Bottle Number : 15799 of 45800 Appearance: Pours a dark caramel-brown colour with minimal head. Aroma: Strong and sweet nose, with caramel, brown sugar, coffee, chocolate. Some molasses, rum and alcoholic booze. Mild dried fruits, raisins and plums. Taste: Intense and heavy sweetness of brown sugar, syrup and caramelised malt. Some roasted malt and coffee bitterness can also be detected. Some alcoholic warmth (rum-like) when swallow. Palate: Creamy, silky texture. Full body. Lingering coffee and caramelised malt aftertaste, with some dark fruits and an alcoholic finish ( given it’s a 14.2% beer!) Overall: Strong, intense and an very sweet brew. It certainly requires some time to finish it due to its higher ABV. A complex and uncommon brew. If you have a sweet tooth and like Tiramisu a lot, this is the beer for you!

Taste: high sweetness and medium bitterness. Notes of oats, madame Jeanette pepper aromaticity (without the spiciness), slightly dairy, almonds and a short note of amaretto liquor. Palate: full bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. Not much resemblance with tiramisu though.

A fantastic combination of salty caramel, bread, cereal and coffee in aroma. A minimal head over the sparkling, ruby body. A very interesting combination of the salty caramel, bread, chocolate and coffee in taste. And after all of this - clear and soft salty chocolate finish
