This tentacled terminator packs a punch - ten punches to be precise. Each hop addition adds to the intense layers of depth in this red rye IPA. Toasty caramel & cinder toffee from crystal malts, cacao richness from intensely roasted malt and the spiciness of rye. Zesty pithiness from citra and the robust resin of chinook. This small batch exclusive brew is up-front intensity matched with twisted complexity.

The can features awesome custom art from Joe Wilson.

Keg at BD Mighty Boosh, 14/12/17.
Rich chestnut brown with a solid beige head.
Nose is sweet red grapefruit, caramel, pine needle, biscuit crumbs, blood orange, hop exhaust.
Taste comprises caramel malts, toasted brown sugar, grapefruit, candied orange peel, toasted grains, pine bite.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good spattering of hop bitterness.
Solid IPA.

Keg @ brewdog Clapham. In a teku glass. I felt like a massive cunt actually going up to the bar and saying the words " can I get an Albino Squid Assassin" ffs! Deep burnt strawberry coloured beer with a reasonably ok khaki head... nose suggested citrus ,resins, oils, grains, herpes and vaginal itching. Good stuff. Quite rich to drink all the nuances I mentioned already in the nose with a boozy palate. A pretty good Grainy ipa. I'm pissed this isn't listed as an ipa ...Specialty Grain is a silly style inclusion here.

First review in a while, I’ve noticed…. Maybe they’ve just released a new batch in time for Christmas? Anyways, this is a dark and malty rye pale ale with a delicious hop finish. There seems to be a constant unfolding hop aftertaste, which I can still taste about 15 minutes after drinking. It is easily identifiable as a Brewdog beer, but I can’t deny that it is a corker.

33 cl can @ home. Pours cloudy amber with an off-white head that leaves a lot of lacing. Aroma and flavour are rye, caramel, pine, and citrus - with a bitter finish.

Aroma is rather mild, spicy, rye is noticeable, hoppy in an earthy and herbal way. Light-medium mouthfeel. Flavour is tofee, rye gives it a nice spicy feel though. Hops is very nice and beer is quite bitter, with a medium long , full of pine and earthy green hops but beautifully balanced with the malt one.

phfyysik (1464) - Tartu, ESTONIA - APR 21, 2017

Can 0,33 @ deTolly baar.
Red color, small head. Aroma of fresh berries, lots of caramel, hops, hints of alcohol. Taste: sweetish-bitter, intense flavour of berries, some roast, crisp, hoppy finish. Medium plus body. Above avg carbo.

basjansen14 (462) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - MAR 12, 2017

Lots of caramel in the aroma with some hops, maybe I had it too cold, because I wasn’t getting a lot out of the aroma.

Taste is also caramel, hops, spicy and quite refreshing with a nice bitterness.

Can shared. Pours dark amber with rich off-white head, medium body, good lacing, dry bitter finish and strong bitter aftertaste. Resin, citrus peel hops along with caramel, roasted malts, toffee. A very balanced, very intense, rich and surprising IPA. Take it slow, and let it reveal its magic. Great!
