Bottle. Pours dark brown. Aroma is coffee, vanilla and chocolate. Taste is moderate bitter and light sweet. Decent balance. More vanilla in the finish, not my favourite.

Black body small head actually. A moderate dark malty aroma, whole wheat bread, cane sugar, pleasant foresty hints, but not overly expressive. Refined even, with a clean yeast. Light bitterness for Brew Dog and with moderate malty backup. It?s good but not as characterful as I hoped. I don?t expect an imperial body, but just a bit more uniqueness. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

Sötétbarna szín, vöröses csillogással. Világosbarna közepes hab, ami lassan összeesik, majd feloszlik. Illata édes és fűszeres: porcukros kakaó, vanillia, szerecsendió és parfűmösen gyümölcsös is. Közepesen szénsavas és közepesen testes. Íze enyhén édeskés, étcsokoládés, kevés kávéval és erdeigyümölcsösen fanyar, kicsit füstös. Utóíze intenzíven keserű és száraz, kis alkoholos melegséggel.

Lanchester (196) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 24, 2013
Pours black with a foamy mocha head. Aroma of dark fruits, and molasses; pleasant roastiness in there too. Solid dark malt profile up front, caramelized fruit and burnt sugar tones taper off into a slightly boozy and astringent finish. Fairly light in the body with carbonation on the higher side for the style...makes for an easy drinking experience but may occlude the flavors a bit as well. A great winter brew nonetheless!

awesome meaty/candy aroma, some smoke and coffee... complex, dark mouth... bitter with a nice dark finish...

Black brown beer with a nice head. No carbonation. Smell is caramel chocolate bitterness with some leather. Bitter salty taste with some wood, leather and coffee. Quite a meaty feel.

Sulphur. Roasted malt. A light raisins. Seems strong, but despite its lowish alcohol. Good stuff.

GraveAtSea (139) - Lublin, POLAND - NOV 25, 2013
Bottle. Clear, dark brown color. Durable light brown head, nicely lacing glass. Sweet aroma - roasted malts. dried dark fruits, cherries, plums, vanilla - very nice. Taste is fruity and sweet. Dried fruits mixed with roasted malts, some coffee and cherry liquour. Medium body with medium carbonation. Nice warming finish. Very drinkable, a bit watery representative of Baltic Porter.

Niezwykle smaczne!
