worldbeertaste (1805) - West Midlands, - OCT 4, 2012
Clear dark amber with a thin lastjng, lacy rather frothy beige head. Smells of dark berries like blackberries. Roasted malt, caramel and way to much hop for a bitter. Watery thin body. Moves it to more like an amber ale with IPA hops in it. Citrus, and hops. Medium oily body. Sweet berry malt start with a light veg and a bitter nutty hop dry finish. Bitter. The finish is rather off.

Cask Half Pint at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London in Aug 2010 - Reddish Brown in colour. Malty; toffee, caramel, toasty/roasty malts. Fruity; berries. Hoppy; fruity resinous hops. Malty fruity leading to a dry bitter finish. Decent enough. (2010-08)

Small botle from local market. Good hoppy nose with grass and pine needle notes. Smooth palate with flavors of hops, fruits and resin. Really good for a market beer.

Bue en bouteille 33cl. Couleur ambrée, fine mousse. Amertume du houblon au nez qu’on retrouve au palais. Peu de corps, finale qui disparait assez vite. Correcte sans plus.

Special beer, no doubt of that. Maybe good beer with sweet pastries and sweet buffet. Where is the taste of rye malt? I can’t find it. Actually beer shouldn’t taste like this.

Bottle. Hazy amber colour with medium head. Sweet malt, bread and berries on aroma. More berries on taste, caramel and malt. Light, bit watery body. Soft carbonation. Short, grassy, sweet and bit watery finish.

3.3
Digzis (108) - Nancy, FRANCE - NOV 22, 2013
Assez houblonnée en premier nez, pas très longue en bouche. Une belle couleur ambrée / rouge. Assez légère avec une pointe d’acidité, quelques notes de fruit rouge et d’épice.
