UPDATED: JUL 8, 2012 Aroma has citrus, caramel and nuts. Good aroma with nice nuances. Colour is ruby red, head brownish. Taste has slightly roasted toffee and nuts first but this balanced with hops. Nice and crisp so sweetness is not owerwhelming. Finish is long and dry. Medium bodied and medium carbonated. Easy to drink and enjoy, good flavors and balance. A good one. ladnewton (1964) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 29, 2010
Cask on 26 Aug 2010 at the CASK Pub & Kitchen, London. Crystal clear reddish beer with off-white foam and part-lacing head. Aroma of caramel and a few citric hop notes. Main kick is initially one of intense caramel that begins wearing off with further sips (hurrah!) allowing a finish of lingering bitterness to develop. The bitterness throbs on the back orf the mouth together with a tingling lemon tang on the tip of the tongue. Zingy mouthfeel, great ale. dantheman278 (1361) - SCOTLAND - JAN 28, 2011
On Cask at the Bow Bar Winter Beer Festival (Edinburgh). Clear amber, thin but persistent white head. Apple and herb on the nose. Initial sweetness is counteracted by big, big citrus and a beautiful long bitter finish. Fizzy, refreshing, ace. KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 17, 2010
Lovely ruby beer, off whitye head.
PAcked with fruity flavour, lovely grassy mouth feel and finish. Incredible to find this on Norwegian supermarket shelves! Ethereal (2421) - Los Angeles, California, USA - DEC 13, 2010
Cask at the Red Lion, Isleworth, Bank Holiday Festival, 29th August 2010. Copper with a persistent small magnolia head. Nice full body. Strong caramel but also strong hopping for this style. Has the signature Brewdog characteristics but in a beer that is more traditional. Nice resiny notes on the nose. Impressive and on this evidence, Brewdog shouldn’t be turning their back on cask. I drank quite a few...

0,33 bottle, bought at Meny. Really smooth red ale, perfect thirst quencher. Oysteib (112) - NORWAY - DEC 23, 2011
Deep red/copper color. Very good hops-bitterness (really quite bitter), balanced by quite good sweetness as well. Some fruit as well. Very good. Psytron (2288) - Turku, FINLAND - JAN 13, 2012
Bitter smell. Coppery-red colour. Bitter with malty aftertaste. Actually somewhat watery. Malty. Fizzy carbonation. Medium body, long finish. Slightly fruity, which is nice. Red ale is not exactly one of my favourites, but this does qualify. Riccardo76 (43) - - MAR 18, 2013
Molto aromatica con schiuma intensa. Aroma floreale e dolce. Ben luppolatae buon carbonazione. Birra molto beverina, fruttata e caramellata, sentori di resina. Birra molto buona. thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 23, 2010
Bottle. Beautiful, deep ruby red with a lacing tan head. Yellow apples and toffee aroma. Quite bitter, almost harshly so, yet soft toffee and the apples flavours remain. What have the Norwegian mass market done to deserve a bitter like this one?
