The ichorous revolution is upon us. Try until your fingers bleed and your mind is numb.Try harder. Try this. Try that. Try the other. Try what hasn’t been tried. Then try again. Keep trying. Forge the new. The molten elixir awakens.

haukur (1970) - Kópavogur, ICELAND - AUG 9, 2012
huge piney candy-ish aroma. Orange amber with a firm head. Taste is very sweet with pine and bitter notes. Excellent imperial ipa and surprisingly balanced

daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - AUG 6, 2012
Amber pour. Aroma is sticky sweet with a background of hops. Flavor is sweet, very malty and light on the hops.

OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 5, 2012
Bottle from Utobeer, London. A dense yellow-shaded blond head, upon a clear deep bright orangey-golden body. Sweet and rich malt aroma, cakey with toasted bread and a whiff of honey. Bold resiny and orange zest scented hops to back it up. Full body. Chewy in the mouth. Lots of alcohol- and malt sweetness, almost held in check by a genrous amount of bittering hops. Quite one-dimensional, alcohol-sweetness and oily bitterness is totally dominating. For sure a well crafted DIPA, but drinkability is not the best.

snzcujo (282) - RUSSIA - AUG 5, 2012
Tasted @home on 05/08/2012. Pours absolutely clear orange with modest head. Aroma immediately prepares for a taste punch - very intense and complex. First sip beats you with a massive malty sweetness, interwined with notes of tropical fruits, raisins and sweet alcohol alike. Aftertaste is a mix of sweetness and bitterness from hops, covered with alcohol. Just a couple of sips gives a pleasing warming inside. Very unusual for a triple ipa, especially of that (14%) alcohol. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

gunnar (9333) - Sandnes, NORWAY - AUG 4, 2012
Bottle from Brewdog online shop. Pours clear amber/orange with a big creamy off-white head. Aroma of marmelade and moderate sweet fruits. Taste is sweet, heavy sweet fruits mixed with strong burning alcohol, the hops disappears almost completely. Sticky mouthfeel.

Psytron (2425) - Turku, FINLAND - AUG 4, 2012
Hops in smell. Copper colour, minimal head. Aroma of hops and alcohol, also some overripe berries and flowers and red wine. Medium sweet, slightly bitter. Oily palate, sharp but short carbon.

Frenger (367) - Derby, Alabama, ENGLAND - AUG 1, 2012
I really liked this. Oily and massively hoppy. Some aniseed and a sweet bitter finish. Great.

brokensail (16609) - Dublin, California, USA - JUL 30, 2012
Amber in color with a white head. Not shockingly, the nose is super sweet. Heavy on the caramel and brown sugar. It does at least have some citrus character to it. A touch of booze on the nose and a little bit of sweet fruit. The flavor is quite sweet as well. Caramel, brown sugar, and toffee. A little bit of booze, some light oxidation, and candied citrus and fruits. Could use some bitterness.

capali1234 (272) - HUNGARY - JUL 29, 2012
Taste has lots of pine and resinous hops, Lots of alcohol, caramel. Oily mouthfeel with a bitter finish.

Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 28, 2012
On keg at The BrewDog Bar. Pours a dark golden amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of pine, coconut, pineapple, must yeast and alcohol. Similar flavours with fair bitterness. Mild carbonation and CO2 prickle with an oily mouth-feel. A little dry and sweet with lingering coconut and oak.
