Grand Tasting @ The Harlequin, Sheffield.
Pours clear golden with a nice, creamy, white head. Aroma has oak, honey, pine, hops, grapefruit. Medium carbonation, great creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is wonderfully bitter, piney, oaky, light tartness and very crisp with some fat, doughy malts. Nice, long bitterness in the finish.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle @ RBESG Grand Tasting 2009. Malty, slightly hoppy citric aroma with a hint of seasalt. Seems massively hopped but the hop character is eased down by notes of seasalt and citrus. Malty, but absolutely dry. Excellent! Christian (13601) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 24, 2009
UPDATED: JAN 21, 2010 Slightly hazy amber/orange with a big and lasting head. The aroma is malty with some fruit that seems to be both marmalade yeast esters and peach/citrus hops. Slightly vineous and with a note of cedar-like wood. The flavour is filled with toast and biscuit malt and lovely English esters, touches of wood and lots of hops. Very bitter finish making it a really good "English IPA". A hoppier, barrel-aged Fullers Vintage? Borresteijn (6959) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 23, 2009
